Born in 1949r. in Poznan. In 1973 graduated with M.A. from sculpture department, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

His jewellery and silver objects have been presented at about eighty exhibitions at home and abroad, including the following:

He is a member of a two creative groups of artists goldsmiths in Poland: the "UFO" group, which in 1975 introduced modern trends into polish goldsmithing art; and the "Museum" group, connected with the museum in Kazimierz Dolny.

For many years he has been active member of the board of Association of Polish Artist, branch of Applied Arts. He has been coorganiser of many exhibition of creative goldsmithing, being the member of the Jury. Since 1987 he is appointed by Polish Ministry of Culture and Art as legal expert and adviser in applied arts - creative goldsmithing. Since 1995 he is a chairman of the Art Council of STFZ = Goldsmithing Artist`s Association.
